Book Author: ‘Spears Fears She Won’t See Another Birthday’

Britney Spears fears she won’t live to see her 28th birthday, according to the author of a shocking new expose about the troubled pop star.
Biographer and journalist Ian Halperin spent 18 months studying the Toxic singer as an undercover paparazzo, getting close to the star and her inner circle.
And now he’s writing all about his findings in a new book which he hopes to have on shelves by Christmas.
Amid all the claims of drug abuse, bipolar problems and suicidal tendencies, Halperin states Spears told him personally she fears she will die at 27.
The biographer, who ironically penned a book about Kurt Cobain – who lost his life at 27, tells Life + Style magazine, “She told me she feared she’d die at age 27 (her current age), just like other music stars, like Janis Joplin and Kurt Cobain.”
Joplin and Cobain aren’t the only members of the sinister 27 Club – rock greats Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Brian Jones all perished before their 28th birthday.
Spears turns 28 on December 2.

Spears’ Dad Quits Job For Full-Time Conservator Role

Britney Spears father Jamie has quit his job as a caterer to dedicate himself full-time to overseeing his daughter’s business affairs.
Jamie Spears was appointed conservator of the star’s legal and financial affairs in February and is in charge of her estate – with court-appointed observer Andrew Wallet – until July 31st.
And now, according to court papers, the pop star’s father has taken on a full-time position as conservator – being awarded a $2,500 weekly salary for the role.
Spears was also awarded a $10,000 lump-sum to cover the first month of his co-conservatorship over his daughter’s estate, according to U.s. publication People.com.
The court documents also give the reason why he needs to quit his job as a caterer, with the papers stating the responsibilities of conservator “have required (his) full-time attention”.
There will be a further court hearing on May 29th to discuss monetary matters in greater detail.
And it seems Spears’ role over-looking the singer’s affairs is paying off – since he was appointed conservator in February, the 26-year-old has secured expanded visitation rights with her two sons; Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Panettiere Blames Paparazzi For Spears’ Downfall
Hero actresses actress Hayden Panettiere has urged the media to allow troubled Britney Spears the space she needs “to heal”.
The star has accused the hordes of snappers who constantly pursue Spears of ruining the pop star’s life – likening their behaviour to that of an obsessed “stalker”.
And the actress believes the photographers’ behaviour is dangerous – insisting Spears’ recent string of car collisions is down to them taking high risks to ensure they get lucrative snaps of the star.
She says, “I love acting more than anything else in the world, so I can’t see myself stopping. But I think this situation is becoming so dangerous – it causes car accidents.
“There’s no differences between what they do and stalking somebody. Look at somebody like Britney Spears – who deals with 50 cars following her all the time – nobody gives her room to heal.”
And Panettiere is devastated the Toxic singer has fallen out of favour with music fans – because she was her idol growing up.
She adds, “To me growing up, she was everything, and we built her up and ripped her down.”
